Visionary Automotive

How we ask permission to text you

We only text customers who have asked us to. Agreeing is never required to request service, book work, or get a quote — we will call or email instead.

What the checkbox looks like

This is the live control from our forms, not a picture of one. It starts unchecked.

Wording version 2026-09-v1. We store which version each customer agreed to, and when.

Where we ask

1

Public quote request

Anyone can request a quote. A phone number is required so we can call them back; the SMS checkbox is separate, unchecked, and the form submits without it.

Public — open it directly

2

Customer portal service request

An existing customer requesting more work sees the same unchecked checkbox, with the same wording.

Verbally, over the phone

Most of our work starts as a phone call. Staff tick a box on the customer record, which stores the date, the employee, and that the source was verbal. Used for service messages only — never for promotions.

Signing in

Customers can sign in to our portal with either a phone number or an email address, so nobody has to accept text messages to use their account. When someone chooses the phone option, a single login code is sent — and only then. That screen says:

We'll text you a one-time code to sign in. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. We won't text you anything else unless you ask us to.

Stopping, and getting help

  • Reply STOP to any message and we stop immediately. START resumes.
  • Reply HELP for a description of the messages and how to reach us.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties.
